Exmouth Market is adorable. Have you been? You have to..
Top of my list on this picturesque street is Coin Laundry, the retro themed bar. It’s nostalgia served on a plate, a little gem for those (ME!) pining for the past and everything the 70s and 80s had to offer.
Tubs of flying saucers and chewing gum sit on the counter from where soda streams, pancakes, chicken kievs and classic prawn cocktails emerge. Social eating is at the heart and soul of this place.
My outifit was a mixture of textures and prints. I went for a suede top, layered over a classic bretton striped t-shirt and a denim mini skirt. I love blue and brown together, it’s the kind of colour combination that wakes up those butterflys in my stomach.
On my feet, I wore my favourite pair of boots (to date). I expect for some people they are a bit like marmite, you’re going to love or hate them. For me, it was love at first sight, I couldn’t find a shoe anymore perfect. JUST LOOK at that snakeprint and platform heel.
My shearling coat was the final piece to complete the look. I got this from ASOS last year and I do kind of wish it was the real deal. I’m forever on the look out for ‘the one’ in a vintage shop, but the fear of it smelling worse than Santa, post 24hour trip around the world, has put me off a little.
Until next time, peace and kisses
