Attempting to find some r&r in a high-street coffee chain can be like trying to divide ice from the snow. I do my very best to avoid these hell holes and find my own little spots of paradise, to take a minute or two for myself. Art House Deli in Camberwell is one of these spots.
They play relaxing jazz music, have great coffee and give away samples of cake – yeah, you got me, that’s the only reason I go.
As a food blogger, I’m always on the hunt for the next best thing, but I just can’t tear myself away, finding myself here on a weekly basis.
I usually have terrible food envy when I’m sat here with my laptop and coffee, they have fresh salads and a wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Giving in to temptation, I decided to give the breakfast omelette a go.
Just looking at this picture of the loaded omelette is making me want to eat the handsome little guy all over again. The fresh salad was a nice touch and the toasted bread was delicious when dipped into some olive oil.
Where are your favourite places to eat?
Until next time, peace and kisses
